Heritage is something valuable that has been passed down from past generations.
In the exploration of UAE heritage, the focus lies in the creation of a connection that builds a bridge between the past and the present, between the artist and the viewer, between the country and its guest.
My journey of visualizing the elements of the UAE heritage began in 2014, in a personal project started with the intent of learning about the culture and objects of daily use of the people of this region. I was able to build up a visual dictionary of sorts, learning along the way.
