Umm Al Quwain Wadi

I decided to drive down to Umm Al Quwain to shoot some scenic wadis next to a building of a failed real estate project, Umm Al Quwain Marina. Too bad I didn’t take appropriate footwear, my shoes got flimsy really quickly. Still, it was refreshing, to walk about, looking at the occasional bird or two. I will definitely take a ride there during low tide, when the sand shows through more and I’ll be able to walk further into the mangrove bushes.

The curvy lines in the sand were made by small snails living there by the thousands. Here and there you could see various birds, from calibri-like tiny ones to the bigger crane-like black feathered birds.
