I’ve only now gotten to sorting through some of my Kiev vacation shots I took. I had a wonderful time! Getting there smack in the middle of the blooming period, I’ve seen the best Spring had to offer. I want to showcase the experiences I had in this beautiful city, my first true vacation. You’ll see posts over the next week, photos and stories included.

Opening this series are two photographs I took on the airplane on my way there. I don’t have a clue which country these mountains belong to, but they sure are majestic! Notice the patterns they make! What a palette of colour!

I’ve never seen sky so blue before! Going darker and darker until it was closest to black, it was mesmerising – and see below, not a man-made structure in sight!
